Total questions are 100 (50 of each) and the total time duration is 170 minutes (85 minutes of each). The management will assign negative marking for the wrong answers, so applicants have to be careful while choosing their answers. This examination will also be conducted in two days with respective the schedule given by the organization. This CAT examination is computer based examination with multiple choice questions and candidates need to just click on the correct answers regarding their point of view.

First of all, candidates have to face the basic round that is English/Verbal Ability and in this section the questions will be asked on Reading comprehension, syllogisms, verbal reasoning, analogies, sentence correction, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, idioms, etc. Knowing the sentence formation is very important thing in this section. So applicants have to make a habit of reading number of passages written in the English. Reading any kind of English news paper is a very good habit which will helps to gain good marks in this English/Verbal Ability section.

Mathematics/Quantitative Ability has important topics like Number systems, trigonometry, geometry, probability, permutation combination, menstruation, algebra, time and work, percentages, averages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc. In this section candidates will get marks who much time they practice through understanding the problem.

Data Interpretation section contains Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, graphs (line, area), tables, charts (column, bar, pie), Venn diagram, etc. First candidates have to read the given data, understand and represent in the graphical format and if they give in graphical format like various chats (Bar, Pie, Column) then they understand the problem and give answers for given questions.

Logical Reasoning is the last topic and in this topic they shall face Clocks, binary logic, calendars, seating arrangement, logical sequence, blood relations, assumption, conclusion, premise, linear and matrix arrangement, etc. For some B-schools, management will be conduct it’s own entrance examinations to calculate applicants’ examinations to join into those organizations.
