Part–A: General English (25 marks)
Part-B: i) General Knowledge (15 marks), ii) Teaching Aptitude (15 marks)
Part-C: Methodology: Every applicant must choose one of the given subjects. (100 marks)

iii) Civics (15 marks)

5) English (100 marks)
For every candidate, applied for this examination Part A & B are common and candidate must choose one subject in Methodology (Part C) section.
For Teaching Aptitude in the section of Part B, maximum marks will be 15 from 10 questions and other than this, remaining all questions carries one mark.
EDCET 2017 Exam Pattern Part–A,B,C
Applicants have to check i) Reading Comprehension, ii) Articles, Prepositions, Correction of Sentences, Tenses, Voice, Spelling iii) Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms iv) Direct Speach and Indirect speech and etc. in the section of General English (Part A).
In the section of General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude (Part B), candidate’s general knowledge will be checked about around his world and it’s application to present society. Current Events needed every day updating in this section, so candidates must be regularly updated along through any type of media.
