Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Written Examination & Personal Interviews to recruit personnel in clerical cadre for the participating Organizations viz.

To qualify in the CWE a candidate has to score sectional cut off as well as minimum Total score to be decided depending on no. of vacancies.

There will be negative marking of Average – ¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – ¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates. Answer left blank shall not be treated as a wrong answer.

Exam Pattern:

As stated earlier a candidate preparing for IBPS must concentrate on five subjects viz. English, Computer Knowledge, Reasoning, GK and Quantitative Aptitude. Selected candidates after CWE shall be called for interview coordinated by IBPS. The call letter entails the Interview venue and other pre requisites.

Candidates succeeded in CWE and Interview will receive an offer letter through computerized system, letter from one of the participating bank depending on the vacancies in each bank of his preference.
