Common Admission Test (CAT) has been conducting by The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for giving admissions for various management courses of IIM. If you practice the model papers of CAT, then you will most probably gain good marks in the final exam and have a chance to choose their required institution to continue their MBA programe. Candidates’ minimum qualification to apply this CAT examination will be Bachelor’s Degree, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.  The  percentage of marks scored by the applicant in the bachelor’s degree would be reckoned based on the practice followed by the institution/university  from where the applicant has got the degree. Applicants appearing for the bachelor’s degree final year or examination of equivalent qualification  and those who have finished degree and are looking results can also apply.

Candidates should note that the mere eligibility of minimum eligibility qualification will not ensure selection for selecting by IIMs. Prospective applicants should have a unique and valid email account and a phone number totally until the process of selection complete. Under the Government of India norms, 15% of the seats will be given for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants. 27% of seats are given for Other Backward Classes applicants of the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC).

Candidates will have syllabus on official website of CAT and after go into the website, candidates have to practice on the syllabus along with the sample papers given in this website. Any important changes will not be made for CAT examination until there is a change mentioned by the Central Government or judiciary with necessary effect.
