MAHA TET Exam Syllabus Pattern 2017
The Education Department of Maharashtra State has decided to give out Maharashtra TET 2017 Syllabus and Pattern of this Exam through its official portal that is www.mahatet.in. This Education Department of Maharashtra is preparing to conduct the TET 2017 on 16 January 2017 at various exam centers through out Maharashtra. Maharashtra Education Department is ready to opportunities for eligible candidates as the designation of Teacher in Primary and Upper Primary Schools with respective the rank in MAHA TET 2017 Exam. Candidates are only looking for the syllabus to prepare well for the Maharashtra TET examination to gain post as teacher.

Paper I (I to IV th classes) – (Time Period: 90 minutes)
1.Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions and 30 Marks
2.Language I – 30 questions and 30 Marks
3.Language II – 30 questions and 30 Marks
4.Mathematics – 30 questions and 30 Marks
5.Environmental Studies – 30 questions and 30 Marks.
Paper II (VI to VIIIth classes) – (Time Period: 90 minutes)
1.Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) – 30 questions and 30 Marks
2.Language I (compulsory) – 30 questions and 30 Marks
3.Language II (compulsory) – 30 questions and 30 Marks
4.For Mathematics and Science teacher : Mathematics and Science – 60 questions and 60 marks
For Social studies teacher : Social Studies – 60 questions and 60 marks
For any other teacher : either 4(a) or 4(b) – 60 questions and 60 marks.
Maharashtra TET 2017 -17 Eligibility Criteria
All the questions are multiple choice questions with carrying four options and their will be one correct among those four questions and the organization will also assign negative marking for wrong answers and deduct those from the original marks gained by the candidates. Child Development and Pedagogy – educational psychology of teaching and learning (age group 11-14 years).
Language I – proficiency regarding the medium of instruction, as selected from list of derived choices in the application form.
Language II – among prescribed options other than Language I.
Mathematics and Environmental Studies – the concepts, abilities of problem solving and pedagogical understanding of the subjects.
