UGC NET Syllabus 2017
Supreme Court of India has released a notification for National Eligibility Test (NET) for appoint Assistant Professors in Universities or Institutions through University Grants Commission. Please check the UGC NET Syllabus 2017 given below to appear this examination confidently. There are two sessions (first and second), three papers (I,II,III) and for these three papers marks will be given 100, 100 and 150 respectively.
UGC NET Syllabus for All Papers 2017
50 questions must be attempted out of 60 questions in Paper I examination within the duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes and maximum marks will be 100.
50 questions must be written in this examination in the Paper II examination within the duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes and maximum marks will be 100.
75 questions must be written in this examination in the Paper III examination within the duration of 2 hour and 15 minutes and maximum marks will be 100.
Paper I exam will primarily be designed to deal with the concepts of reasoning ability, divergent thinking, comprehension and general awareness of the applicant. First 50 questions attempted by the candidate is calculated out of 60 questions.
Paper II examination consists of 50 objective type mandatory questions from the subject chosen by the applicant. Each question will carry 2 marks.
Paper III examination consists of 75 objective type mandatory questions from the subject chosen by the applicant. Each question will carry 2 marks.

All the candidates must mark their answers in the OMR Sheet which will be provided along with the booklet. Only such applicants who gain the minimum required marks in each Paper, separately, as given above, will be taken for final preparation of result. Finally Lectureship shall be given by University Grants Commission (UGC) before declaration of result. Candidates can download the UGC NET final result through www.ugc.ac.in and have a hard copy for future reference.
