We are providing UPSC IES Syllabus 2017 in this website, if you are similar to it then please read and know all the syllabus provided here. This examination has two procedures for selection, those are 1. Written Examination and 2. Personal Interview.
Written examination has two parts those are 1. Objective Paper (Section 1) and 2. Subjective Paper (Section 2). Objective paper has again two sections those are 1. General Ability and 2. Technical Section. For all streams of Engineering students, General Ability section is common. Observe the information given below

Objective Paper: (Section I)
1. General Ability – 2 hours and 200 (maximum marks)
2. Engineering Paper I – 2 hours and 200 (maximum marks)
3. Engineering Paper II – 2 hours and 200 (maximum marks)
Conventional Paper: (Section II)
1. Engineering Paper I – 3 hours and 200 (maximum marks)
2. Engineering Paper II – 3 hours and 200 (maximum marks)
UPSC Engineering Services Examination Syllabus 2017
This examination has total marks of 1,000. General Ability has two sections they are General English and General Studies.
Questions on the topics of Current Affairs, Important Scientific Aspects, Indian History, Questions on Geography and etc. will be asked in the General Ability section. General English section is to understand the candidate’s English language and applicants have to practice vocabulary, tenses and sentence formation in this section.

Applicants have to avoid submitting applications multiple times, if candidates submitting applications more than one time then those submitted applications will be liable to be rejected. Give a valid e-mail and mobile phone number to receive updates from the UPSC organization, so they can act with respective the situation and need not take unnecessary tension.
Without waiting for last date of application submission, candidates must be before the last date and this will be advisable from the organization of Union Public Service Commission. Candidates can submit their applications through www.upsconline.nic.in, before final date for the application submission. Applicants must ensure that they are fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and filling all the mandatory columns in the application form.
